Introduction
If you’re new to Kubernetes / Docker / Containerization and would like to learn more about it, I recommend you pursue the Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA) certification. You can learn more about KCNA by clicking this link.
About the Exam
The exam consists of 60 Multiple Choice Questions in which you must score 75 points out of 100.
The exam topics of the exam be found here.
You can get 30% off the Exam Voucher by entering Coupon Code EARTHDAY24 :
Exam Questions
From my experience, each question consists of 2 non-sense answers and 2 related answers so even though the passing score is 75, you still can guess to pass it. I thought I would not pass it due to the amount of questions I had to guess but based on the previous sentence, there is still a chance you can pass. If not, you’re still eligible for a free retake.
Learning Resources
From the chronicical order:
- Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA) Study Guide from O’Reilly. Read this book as theory knowledge.
This PDF book can be downloaded free via the LinkedIn Post below:
2. Udemy Course of James Spurin. He explains the theory shortly and dives directly into the Hands On labs.
One major advantage of his course is that you can do it together with him and load in the Hands-On labs directly for each section of his course:
After the course, do the practice exams to test your knowledge of the course.
3. Kubernetes Official Documentation. Read the documentation as you will get questions about it.
Plus James mentions this in his Udemy Course as well under Further Study Tips:
Best of luck with your exam!
